Bison really having trouble negotiating with that double team in the post, both Nelson & Morgan. At times no one making themselves available, or else they are slow to recognize where the open player is.

Disappointing we haven't improved on dealing with the double teams this season. Bigs are making themselves small, dribbling and reacting slowly to the double team while everyone stands around and watches.

I will never understand why some bigs need to put the ball on the ground every time they touch the ball under the basket. Seems like both Morgan and Nelson are both guilty tonight.

Why hold for the last shot and run an iso for Wheeler Thomas? Not his strength.

Don’t remember seeing a decent screen set by NDSU……sigh
SDSU takes advantage of that on D.
Bison bigs quit falling off their man on D so much, improving the team D that way. Jacks took advantage of that a few times before the adjustment.

Bison fell behind by 8ish, but scrapped their way back to a 27-27 tie at the half

Tied at the half. Defense played way better the last 10 min. Forcing lots of bad shots and getting rebounds. They are doubling the bigs every time down low. Make the outside shots I guess. They were letter Skunberg back it in…strange, but it actually worked.
