Started listening to the Splitting Hares Podcast by some SDSU Rubes. It's a good listen, but man they get salty towards us.

For three quarters Holy Cross looked the better team. That is the point that I made. SDSU scored three touchdowns going away in the 4th Q and still came out with fewer yards, first downs and time of possession.

And then of course contrast that with our game against a much better UIW, where we had a shockingly bad quarter but dominated the rest of the game after that.

Both teams won and both teams showed a lot of vulnerability. UIW is considerably better than HC. So what I’m saying is why does NDSU get dinged for the UIW game but SDSU gets a pass for HC?

NDSU didn't dominate 3 quarters against UIW though. NDSU outscored them by 2 whole points in the second half. NDSU had 200+ fewer yards. Half as many first downs. About the same TOP. I don't know if UIW is better than HC or not, I don't think it really matters. I don't think the two games are comparable.

I don't think either team gets "dinged", but if one was to get dinged, it would be the one who held on to win by 3, not the one who won going away.

Has anyone seen a commercial on ESPN for the NDSU game? It baffles my mind that they do so little to promote their own product, especially when it has so many great storylines.
