Hopefully they play some blackjack or pulltabs while they are there.

I was driving back to the cities on Saturday and listening to the game... It was painful. On normal plays you would have to turn up the volume, only to get blown out of the car when a big play happened.

I was in Nassau this week and on Monday, teams playing in the Bahamas showed up for their bowl game on Saturday. University of Alabama—Birmingham & Miami of Ohio. Stayed in the motel I was in. Interesting, they had the run of the place, the water slide park, the casino, etc. Lots of distractions. Sounds like they had some practices, but whenever I was out and about, they were everywhere. You would think bowl week, there would be lots of practices, walk through, meetings, etc. But wasn’t the case. Guess they are letting the teams really enjoy the trip.

Some teams treat bowl games like a business trip, others vacation. Bahamas probably makes it easy to be more laid back on it.

All depends on the teams and the bowl game and relevance to their ranking. I doubt the teams in the bottom 20-30 bowls are tasking their players too hard.
