why did their plane slow about 35 mph about 1 hour ago? coast?
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
If these guys actually can land in Fargo, in the words of the great Tony Ambrose, I'd pay money to see the pucker factor when they see just where the hell they are.
any chance we can move this game outside for maximum lulz?

Hello Word players who are about to play the Thundering Herd, this is your captain speaking.
We are about to enter South Dakota airspace. This state is know for many things, shitty football, lack of fan dedication, and 1 snow plow for each interstate. Well, lucky for us those don't apply, but they have a massive storm system moving through, so please buckel your seat belts, this is going to be a rough ride the rest of the trip.
On a more positive note, the visibility in Fargo is about 2 miles so we should be able to land. It is currently 28 degrees and the wind chill is 16. The winds are about 25 mph gusting to 30 with snow. The weather is going to take your breathe away, so get ready for it.
Good luck tomorrow, and know that this is the only part of your trip you will enjoy.

They moved the ETA back about 45 minutes and slowed the plane down to let that wave of precipitation move further west and have them land in behind it. (Yes, this storm came from Duluth and is moving east to west.)
The METAR for Hector right now is showing N at 15 knots. With Runway 36 that's as good as it gets.
Frankly, UIW is probably landing in the best weather slot of the day. < knocks on wood because you never wish ill for aircraft >
