Pretty funny how the announcer tries giving credit to the player that “punched it out”. Kind of a freak play quarterback uses terrible ball security and fumbles off the guys helmet

Got a nice little assist from the pylon too.

They got trucked by JMU 59-20 in the 2nd round last year. It was 59-13 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Here's how the two teams stack up statistically with national FCS ranks in parentheses:

I tried to watch the Samford - SELA game but only made it to the end of the third quarter - that just isn't my kind of football, and it's going to make for a long, long game on Friday unless NDSU can dominate the clock.

Quincy Crittendon, their replacement QB, looked surprisingly good both as a passer and runner. He made some beautiful passes.

Anyway here are their last game's notes: SELA Game Notes)

Their QB is first-team SoCon Michael Hiers who is up for the Harlon Hill Walter Payton. Jabari Brooks, their humungous center (340 lbs) is second-team SoCon, along with RT Gavin Orr. The right side of their line is 50 lbs heavier then their left side - I don't think that I've ever seen that kind of disparity before.

They have a very young roster.
Tony, you are correct. Wikipedia says Chris Hatcher coached at Georgia Southern.

So…same as vs Montana and UND then? Run for 400+ and score 40+ for a blowout win? Ok, ready break.

Honestly 33-0 vs Georgia is fairly impressive for an FCS. Georgia will probably beat buckeyes, Michigan or TCU by 30

    Alright, Samford it is!

Well, another 3-4 D for the Bison to game plan for.
Remember the days when that was tough to do?

The Griz and the Fighting Hawks both had undersized DLines for using a 3-4 D up against the powerful NDSU running attack. At least Samford (11-1) has two 300 lb NT’s to try and slow the Bison down. (6’ 4” 302 + 6’ 2” 320)

Both with hands on hips by mid second quarter, looking to sidelines for relief.
