That enforcement was correct, but I didn't like the "essentially the same spot" announcement. The live ball personal foul is enforced 15 yards from the end of the run and an automatic first down. Then the dead ball personal foul is enforced 15 yards back the other way. You are supposed to walk off both and set the chains once the penalties are enforced. So you do come back to the end of the run. The announcers were confused, but they have no clue.

Anyone notice that #55 for Montana was the only one to not go on the field after the game and not shake hands. He was the one who had the hands to the face penalty by an NDSU player and was very, very heated with his helmet off after the play. Maybe coaches told him to stay off the field afterwards and go to the locker room.
