Very unlikely to happen. And frankly, I think it actually goes against what is in the NCAA manual. But the fact that the selection committee chair even mentioned it goes to show how big of a mess this has turned into.
370 points given up in 12 games and this is what you obsess about?

There is always debate about teams on the bubble getting in or being left out. As Tony noted, I was expecting the top 4 seeds to be set up with teams from the same conferences meeting in the semifinals.

That said, I'm looking at this year's bracket and really can't see how, from an on-the-field standpoint, it's not better than most, if not all, from the last 10 years. The committee could have so easily setup conference rematches in the semis, for example, but chose not to.
It's OK to not be OK.

You're right. Nothing to see here, just a bunch of UND rubes causing issues about nothing. Just ignore the fans of other schools, beat writers of other programs and national FCS media making the same commentary.

The fact that the committee now has opened the door on ignoring previous precedence on how things have 100% been done in the past, arbitrarily decide when and where to use whatever subjective criteria they want to make the deals they made work and the committee chair is openly putting out commentary that goes against the NCAA manual is nothing to be concerned about. You complain about how things were done in D2, well this is looking more and more like that as things continue to come out.

Just curious, who should have been in over UND and why? Every projected bracket had UND in.
Having the ball with 2 minutes left and a chance to win/tie against the #9 seed was a hell of a lot better than most of other 1st round teams did. But I "no" that you "new" that.

You were behind 24-0 in the first half before Weber let down - no decent playoff team would allow that to happen. The game before you got boat raced and "YES" you were lucky to get into the tournament.
