We definitely struggled a bit with the 1-3-1 zone they threw at us and we couldn't shoot our way out of it but getting some big stops on defense and getting out in transistion is where this team is really dangerous and that's what helped get the win. Elle Evans was amazing, if she can start to get her 3pt shot to fall at a little higher clip she could very well win Freshman of the Year in the conference and potentially land on an All-Summit team, she's that good.

The other player that stood out to me who we haven't seen much of so far this season was Kristina Ekofo Yomane, Hildebrandt was struggling to defend their post players a bit and Behnke obviously can't play 40 minutes so Jory sent in Kristina and she played very well, got some clutch rebounds, held her ground defensively and even ran the floor for a nice transition bucket.

Teams have been very focused on shutting down Hamling so far this season and have been effective in slowing her down but the talent around her now is much higher and we are winning games without her having to score 20+ to do so. This is the best women's team we've seen in a very long time at NDSU, really hope the fans start to come out in better numbers, they deserve it.
