He might be looking at FCS .

Spoke to a source and I'm told #NotreDame has offered #Iowa transfer receiver Keagan Johnson.

Ernest Hausmann was an early NDSU Offer.

Did have playing time as freshman at Nebraska, including 7 starts so seems like someone who would stay FBS

Speaking of which, Filip Rebraca (sp?) - the transfer portal guy from the school up north- had something like 22 points 11 rebounds for Iowa in their win

Former Iowa Hawkeye Keagan Johnson commits to Kansas State after entering Transfer Portal - had 18 catches for 352 yards freshman season. Younger brother to former Jackrabbit Cade Johnson.

An article on a Northern Iowa school player entering the transfer portal last week - Stefon Black, a CB who had a NDSU Offer back in his high school days. Black, who was a starter for the Panthers, has now been offered by Stephen F Austin.
The article also mentions other UNI players who have entered the portal, including a couple from the Twin Cities.

Same 2 years of remaining (playing) eligibility as Maques Sigle had. Would pretty much be a trade - him for DJ Hart between NDSU and UNI. Would make sense to take a run at him but the question is whether the coaches feel he's a cultural/character fit I guess.

The article mentions he wants to play more man-to-man, to better suit his skills.
Apparently UNI plays too much zone. Would he be happy in the Bison Cover 2?
Are the corners considered man-to-man enough in that regard?

iirc on Black, NDSU was his first offer in high school (metro KC).
His offers added up and he committed to Air Force.
Later had a change of heart, decommited and chose Northern Iowa.
