Just to play devil’s advocate and offer a balanced perspective, the TP would be easier for NDSU to handle with 20 more scholarships, no?
We basically get poached like a G5 already

exactly and NDSU being FBS allows us to get Local Talent (MN/WI/IA/Dakotas) that are currently coveting a FBS offer over NDSU (even though we all know NDSU would beat those teams)
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?

This should go in the Colorado 2024 thread… I’m excited for that game now!

I'm still skeptical. In 3 seasons at Jackson St his most impressive win was against.... *checks notes* .... Florida A&M??? He's not coaching in the creampuff filled SWAC anymore. I know he can recruit with the best of them but he won't simply be able to out talent teams in the Pac-12 - it's going to take some coaching. Hopefully he's put together a good staff because it seems like he's got a lot of other irons in the fire and isn't able to put the time towards coaching that many college football head coaches do.

wait, there may be some CHALLENGES to moving up??? WELP, pack it up guys, not worth it... If something is challenging, its not worth it!

Found Matt Larsens Burner account lol
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
    3. It's time to go FBS

Odd happenings in South Bend today. Backup QB has entered portal. Though he said in his statement that Notre Dame is leaving the door open for him to stay at ND.

Seems sorta relevant to the discussion whether schools are going to or should leave the door open for a kid to return after testing the waters.

You can only win so many games on athletic ability. Now we will find out if he can truly coach.
