Physically Cole Payton reminds me of QP2. He can run like a beast but he's no where near where we need him passing. I think he is 1 more season away.
You replace Quincy because he is not good at passing with another QB who is "no where near where we need him passing"

Now that just kills the spirit of wanting to be contribute as a team player.

Not sure I see the connection. If the transfer dates set by the NCAA stay the same, the playoff size, dates, etc won’t have any impact.

The transfers rules need to be changed to allow people to finish out their postseason first and foremost and still be eligible for the next semester. Doesn't make alot of sense otherwise.

Cole Payton is being used in the same role as QP2 was late last year and its working. He is averaging almost 7 yards per carry. Cole has time to develop his passing skills. Quincy would have slowed Coles development by taking reps away and Cole has more eligibility

Cam Miller was no where near we needed him week 1 of last year either. Now he is a really well rounded QB. The top 2 QBs are going to get the majority of reps

This could be a really good thing. NDSU could get all those fringe recruits to come here for a couple years and win championships and then they could transfer up to Division 1 at a place like JMU and see how they are against better competition to see how they can translate as NFL prospects.

Would this rule that you are proposing apply to coaches also? Administrators?

Cam has developed nicely and is hitting his stride at the perfect time this season. Still think he has a lower athletic ceiling than our recent QBs but he's making the most of what he has for potential. That you can respect.

Also lead blocking for Bussey 30 yards down field is pretty bad ass.

Any coach with some high loyalty should as they always say its about the team. I was impressed by Kleiman as he followed thru just like he expected his student athletes to do. I do appreciate someone like that. It doesn't always work that way. Most people these days are all about themselves.

The great thing about todays culture is people quit any and everything for the smallest slight or some lame reason. People have tendency these days to not fight thru some difficult times which may make them better in the long run. Purple
