We had scholly players leave the program in the 80s and enroll/play at other schools, just not with the easy-access portal opportunity. Others will step up.

Yep. Remember when Jalen Allison got hurt and Marquise Bridges steps in and became an impactful starter despite switching positions? Much more recent but a good example. We got some true freshman who have some eligibility

Ah...
We were still undefeated when he was the QB, so I dont think being a top seed team in the playoffs would be an issue if he was operating the offense. I guess Cam Miller is making more throws and has better efficiency as a passer compared to QP.

Quincy did his job and won 7 games (6 technically) despite his accuracy issues. QP2 was the better QB week 1 but Cam was better later in the season. Right now Cam is playing at a high level
Physically Cole Payton reminds me of QP2. He can run like a beast but he's no where near where we need him passing. I think he is 1 more season away.
