What if you're a current student or a recent graduate of NDSU from outstate? Not a "real" fan I suppose. Seems like a really shortsighted view and part of the problem that is fueling the decline in attendance/engagement. Oh well, at least the ol' boys club will get their dome back. Without the bandwagoners everyone left will be able to fit inside the new IPF and tailgate. Maybe that was the goal for building it all along.

Also, people who are not “real fans” have been told by “real fans” how shitty or “pud” FCS is so why even bother showing up as prices for games rise. The real fans then question why no one else but them are showing up for games. Interesting dynamic.

Super seniors who havent had that breakout season yet probably aint gonna leave. This is their last opportunity. I would be more concerned about players with 2 years left, but most juniors havent had breakout seasons. Guys like Kubas, Wlodarczyk, TMac, Mathis and Pierce have had good years, but not breakout seasons. Next year will be their year. A few could be pre season all americans and thats when NFL attention starts. Besides with Kobe and Luepke leaving, RB1 could get 500 carries and rush for 3,000 yards and 40 TDs

No he is a regular senior. The covid year didnt count and he didnt redshirt so he has 2 years of eligibility. But he only had 1 more year with us since he played 4 (after 23) It actually makes sense for him, he gets an extra year

Guys leaving sucks. But its not an ndsu thing. Happening all over to every school. There is like 3,000 guys in the portal right now. I guess we just have to get with the times and find the right tranfers.
