I work with a bunch of SDSU folks in Sioux Falls, including 1 former player and many season ticket holders. When I ask them if they are looking into a collective, they appear to have deer in the headlights look. Seems like they are always little behind the times down here. I'm very curious about next week with them. I could see them doing just fine to having a major exodus.

They’ll have a ‘frisco high’ for a while. But what athlete is going to walk into another school and play against others who are getting NIL and think ‘ I don’t want any of that, I’m fine with living off of the culture? That’s delusional.

Yeah, expecting culture to carry you by itself is foolish. We got bit by it last year. You need to have both to survive nowadays.

"Culture" is one of the most overused terms in employment, sports teams and so forth. Sort of like saying the work environment/team environment is like "family."

Culture can mean anything you want it to.

Are we sure this is the case since there was transfer portal opened after the coaching change? FM media seem to think that the portal is closed for NDSU player until April.

The NCAA info sheet says:

SAs receive an extra 30-day time period to enter the Transfer Portal if there is a head coaching change or if aid is canceled.

I also found an article stating the 30 days is not effected by the regular portal window.

You guys are forgetting, it's not just culture....it's AMAZING CULTURE!!!!
