    Default NDSU vs Binghamton

Looked at the press release looks like we will see March at 149. Wrestlestat has NDSU winning 26-13, with NDSU losing at 133, 174, 197 and 285. Of those I think Midkiff and Mora have the best chance of winning. 197 should be the best match of the dual though, #5 DePrez beat Pentz 8-5 last year.

    Projected matchups
    125 Negrete vs Roes
    133 Midkiff vs Sobotker
    141 Droegemueller vs Lucier
    149 March vs Zarif
    157 Franek vs Decker
    165 Caliendo vs Gamkrelidze
    174 Sax vs Cassella
    184 Parker vs Nolan
    197 Pentz vs DePrez
    285 Mora vs Day

There should be several competitive matches tonight. Excited to see if they go with March or Schumm at 149, since they listed both. I'm hoping it's Schumm as a reward for his good performance at the Bison, and to further preserve March's redshirt. I think Binghampton has a shot at each of 125, 133, 149, and 174-HWT. Granted I think NDSU is a favorite at most of those and would pick the NDSU guys in most, but it could be a sneaky competitive dual.

True Freshman Fernando Barreto getting the call at 133 and rFr Gabe Schumm starting at 149. Barreto is slick.

Starting 5 rFr and 1 true freshman

With the new redshirt rules, I do like getting Barreto a start, but I do want them to redshirt him. Midkiff is capable and could challenge for an NCAA birth, so I don't see a need to eventually burn the redshirt, unless Midkiff gets hurt

Nice single for Negrete and he gets to his tilt.

Negrete wins 9-2 behind a great 1st period and then two sub-par periods. Really took his foot off the gas and Roes did a nice job those last 2 periods of taking the action to him. Negrete lost the major on a stall call, and it was very much deserved

Really tough matchup for Barreto in his first start. Sobotker is a multi year starter and a pinner.

Couple really nice shots by Barreto but can't finish

Scoreless first period, but Barreto had some nice shots and great movement. Sobotker did nothing.
