Saw some people are projecting Max at 174/184, with him and Olson at 125 this class looks great with 2 in the top 50. Going to lose alot of talent after next year, good to see the it being replenished.

According to an Iowa wrestling chat site his choice of major, electrical engineering, was more important than where he went to wrestle. One commenter said he had heard that Max wasn’t going to wrestle in college but NDSU is such a perfect fit allowing him to do both wrestle and get the degree and future job he wants. Good get for the Bizon.
I was excited to see this today, both at the prospect of getting a potential Iowa four-timer, and as an NDSU EE grad. In that article, he talks about wanting to be an electrician, and going to NDSU because of some trade school program. I'm interested to find out how that works, because it doesn't sound like anything I would have expected.

Yeah they’re talking about this on the Iowa board, and like you said the article that Chapo linked talks about trade school and being an electrician. I think NDSU has some sort of agreement with NDSCS, so I don’t know if that’s the angle?

I watched his Beast of the East championship match against Jed Wester of St Michael Albertville. He nearly pinned him in the first period and dominated a pretty good wrestler.
Bison fans are blessed. Enjoy it.

North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

The northern lights wrestling team has 4 wrestlers I sure hope are on the ndsu radar. Only one is a senior this year.

I think Enzminger from Legacy is the only ND kid who is a future D1 wrestler right now. That could change if some guys develop in the near future.

Edit: Araujo is obviously a D1 wrestler, but not counting him since he’s already committed to the Huskers.
