    Default 2022/2023 Roster

Wrestlestat has a couple interesting changes to the BiZon roster for the upcoming season. McGwire Midkiff is listed as the starter at 133. Kellen March is now listed as the starter at 149, up two weights from 133. Gavin Sax is now now listed as a backup to Riley Habisch at 174, up three weights from 149. Not sure how reliable this is but it looks like some guys have done some growing over the summer.

Here is the starters they have listed by weight

    125 Negrete Jr
    133 Midkiff
    141 Droegemueller
    149 March
    157 Franek
    165 Caliendo
    174 Habisch
    184 Parker
    197 Pentz
    HWT Metz
Bison fans are blessed. Enjoy it.

Sax posted he's at 174 now and he doesn't look nearly as skinny as he did at 149. That's a huge jump though and you usually see guys struggle with cardio when they pack on that much muscle that quickly. I'm also somewhat skeptical he'll be as effective on top without a huge length advantage and his scrambling ability should be lessened by facing longer, stronger guys.

I don't mind March at 149. He wrestled heavier than 133 in HS and has had intermittent struggles at 133, likely due to the cut. I was hoping he and Dylan would be 141/149 and think it makes the lineup stronger. Hopefully Habisch/Sax can capably fill 174, because if they can, the lineup should be really solid

Time will tell, but I really like that lineup.

The following individuals are no longer listed on the roster

    125 Lucas Rodriguez
    165 Eddie Simes
    174 Conner Tulenchik
    HWT Dominik Vacura

Update: The Watts brothers have also both removed from this years roster.

May be more but I only perused it thru once. Also I recall last yr there were a couple omissions by mistake as school started.

Probably not shocking nor will it hurt the starting roster but the depth in the room at HWT is pretty thin.

Even though wrestle stat has March now up at 149 and Sax at 174 the roster still lists them at their last years weights.

I was surprised that the press release for tomorrow stills shows March at 133 and Sax and 149.

I haven’t seen any news or anything that says March is at 149 other than wrestlestat. Has anyone actually announced or heard from a reliable source that’s the weight he’s at?

Looks like Midkiff 133, Weber 149, and Mora 285.

Who’s our best at Hwt? Is Metz out, or is he HWt2.

Mora started off with a ranked win at a clutch time for the team. I think I would stick with him unless he starts losing to several guys that Metz would probably not lose to.

I was watching some of the North Country open last season. One thing that impressed me about Mora was how he was basically acting as the coach for the rest of the team.
