The big mistake here was not allowing him to call a 4th one. Should have gone for 4th and 1.

Can Miller is an average QB at best. Not winning you games in tough situations. Against USD is not a tough situation. Team needs play better. No number 1 receiver

Did you ever see that kid that was the QB for SHSU years ago, Crosa looks like Mr. Olympia compared to him.

Pushing the pile was usually OK so they removed the pushing the runner part to remove any doubt if someone touching the runner is a foul. Even if someone is doing some pulling in that pile is not the only reason the pile is moving so it's extremely unlikely to be a foul. Maybe if they pull them away from the pile and they gain more yards.
I've only called it once and it was a high school game. Runner was tripped up and about to go down but a teammate caught him and held him up for about 5 yards before letting go. He gained another 30 yards after that. I sent it to Dean Blandino and asked if he thought it would have been a foul in college as well and he did!
