Arizona beat #12 Ucla 34-28 last night.

Heck, I thought UCLA was #9 - nice win for Arizona regardless. You'd think that'll help NDSU's SoS.

And I repeat, SoS is BS if you can lose to a team by 40 and that is better for your SoS than NDSU's loss to Arizona... if you don't even make a game of it, I just don't see why a beatdown should count toward you SoS, especially if the L doesn't count. And that was my weekly SoS rant.

Statistics are only as good as the context given to them

If you didn't watch that game, you should try to catch a replay. AZ athletes are so far superior to the bison, it is actually impressive that the bison kept the game so close and probably should have won.

I would say no. Whats surprising is that we lost. They have some good pass catchers. I think our secondary played very well in the passing game against them.

I wouldn't say surprising. Their Offensive line significantly outplayed our defensive line. And as a team they made fewer mistakes.

Yes, nice win but theyre 4-6 and need to win out to be bowl eligible.

They've improved a bit and are up to #56 in Sagarin. 3-6 against FBS teams.
Not as bad as they've been past years, but also not the best team we've ever played.

Some of our championship teams would have beat them soundly.
