Well, here we are.....finally another FBS game after 6 long years. It's time to predict the familiar excuses we hear every time NDSU beat a P5 program:

Well, it came after an SEC game and before we open conference play at Cal.

CAS jeans bedazzled us.

We just didn't tackle their running backs very well.

They fed us Whataburger instead of In 'n Out before the game.

They got lucky their offense chewed up so much clock.

We turned over half our roster and have not had time to gel. (actually could be true....)

It was early in the season; we'd crush them at the end of the year.

Okay, your turn.

Two weekends of 8:00 PM kickoffs in a row is hard.
Thought we were playing North Dakota who couldn't even beat Nebraska.
