Default Boden Skunberg - 5th year of eligibility

Boden's Mom said he will play somewhere next year and use his 5th year of eligibility. The only place we know for sure he won't be playing is NDSU.

Any idea where he may end up? SDSU, USD, Wyoming, Montana?

So he apparently wants his legacy to be a solid player on a sub .500 team that loses to the Bunnies by 20 in the home finale. The days of players with a legacy are gone. That's why guys like Lawrence Alexander, Dexter Werner, Ben Woodside, Taylor Braun and Vinny Shahid are legends and are future Hall of Famers.

I'm sure he wanted to get blown out by 20 points on his senior day. I'm assuming that the odd sudden benching and even keeping him out of the arena was the end of him playing another year for the Bison.

Boden regressed substantially this year. He needs to be on a team where he is the 2,3, or 4 option. He's not built to be da guy. He was still a great Bison and an ambassador for the program. Too bad we couldn't have given him some better coaching and talent to surround him with this year. Best of luck to him wherever he ends up.

I dont blame any kid for using their last year elsewhere.

He grew up down the street from me in Jamestown. Granted, he was just a tyke back then. Can't blame him for wanting to do something different, considering how stagnant our basketball team is lol.

None of those other guys even had the option of playing a 5th season like Skunberg does due to the 20-21 season not counting against his eligibility. I don't blame him for wanting to go somewhere else - I'd imagine he clashes with Richman and knows next year isn't going to be any better than this year. Assuming he's leaving with a degree he fulfilled his end of the bargain when he signed his NLI at NDSU - good luck to him.

Idk how it's embarrassing for a ND kid who played four years in Fargo to want to use his last year to go do something different.
