He sounds great. I had no idea who they might pick or how this might work. I think he'll be a great fit.

Ever the diplomat, is Mr. Hammersmith

Kind of surprising how dead their board is. They're FBS now, right?
And the SHSU fans were great in response too.

I think we got a good one - I'll miss Jeff, of course - he and Scottie are indelibly linked to some of the greatest moments in NDSU football history.

scoop in hipp sounds promising, he likens north dakota to Texas with rural roots and family first. Sounds like he is really excited to have a rowdy fanbase at ndsu!! seems like a solid hire and that 11am-1pm spot should continue, I hope andy stays off the mix more now and focuses on program stuff. him and Jeff sounded forced on air.

    best of luck

Have they publicly said he’s going to be doing the 11-1 show? I think they were silent on it in the hiring press release, so it makes me curious.

I do like Andy, he works his ass off. I love his early bird stuff on 1660 game day mornings. But yeah you could tell he and Culhane probably didn’t hang out after hours haha

Great hire, guy is really good!

Hopefully they get KE to stay full time with Rob on the 11-1 show.

Wow, the guy sounds great. Without knowing anything about him personally, he seems like a culture fit here in the sense that he treated SHSU like it was the super bowl and thats what NDSU is looking for in their media team
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
    3. It's time to go FBS

Saw somewhere, think it was a Kolpack article, that he sees NDSU as a career move, not a stepping stone. Now, I would never blame anyone for going to a great opportunity like Jeff did; but I liked hearing that.
