What if we win at SDSU the final game of the 2007 season? Would we have been in an FBS bowl game? IIRC Gene had it in the bag as long as we won. We'd already beaten Minnesota and Central Michigan.

What if we don't beat KU 6-3 to open the 2010 season? I doubt we make the playoffs as a 6-5 team, and the EWU game never even happens.

Well, it's not just for Bison football... there are plenty of events that would have benefited from a bigger dome in the last 30 years.

I'm not sure how many football games would have stretched capacity though.

What if Bubba had punted instead of ...

4th and 1 at UND20 Vaughn, Quincy rush for no gain to the UND20 (Costner Ching).

Simple. Bison would have inserted Cam Miller as the QB and the Bison would have scored from 35 yds further out. Also, final score would have been much different, as in bigger Bison win, with Miller as the QB.

Zero chance of a bowl game. None. It would be a violation of NCAA rules. We only had 3 counters.

A better question is if the FCS selection committee would have given the undisputed #1 team a waiver to join the playoffs while still in D2 transition. IIRC we were in full D1 compliance in all areas except the calendar at that time.
