I hadn't seen this until I stopped by the forum. Really bummed that it's a scrimmage and not an actual exhibition game. Still fun though.
We definitely lost a lot this past year in terms of upperclassmen (4 of our 5 starters from last season), so I would imagine this one will be a significant learning experience for the Vikes. Several transfers and freshmen will likely play key roles this season and technically D2 hasn't even started full practices yet (can't start those until the 15th), so having an inexperienced team and a fraction of the practice time will certainly put Augie at a disadvantage.
Hopefully it's a good learning experience and we can at least push the Bison a little. Should be interesting to read what people hear/say about it. Hopefully someone on here can get an inside scoop.
