I didnt say "for" I didnt think my post needed clarification--------but considering Gabes posts in the past in regards to recruits from the south I thought you were busting his chops.

Agreed. Need to take a serious look at recruiting if top players are jumping ship for dog shit teams like Colorado st and south Florida..

Again, its adapt or die...the transfer portal isnt going anywhere. If we're going to just pretend its not there and NDSU should only recruit local kids solely based on the assumption they'll be staying for 5 years then we in turn need to accept that we will not maintain relevancy.

Yes, NDSU is a developmental program and I do not think we need to totally abandon that. But to not be more active in the transfer portal so that we are able to plug and place guys is stubborn and closed minded.

Smith is from the same high school as current Bison WR Mehki Collins.
