You are not alone, back in college I had a designated Spaghetti eating shirt. Saved me a lot of money, that did.

I only wear red/ maroon shirts when eating spaghetti. I’ve thought about using elbow macaroni like Grandma did.

So the athletic department will essentially make peanuts in the grand scheme of things off of this. I think that's even further evidence that this was precipitated by the fact that season tickets didn't sell out for the first time in 10 years and they believe this will get more fans in the door.

By my math if they sell one $8 beer to every patron for 9 games that comes out to about $140,000.

NDSU will probably make an extra 50-60 grand for the regular season + playoff games if the NCAA allows it. Remember most people have a budget so they may buy less water or soda. Even low end 50 grand is pretty significant. Thats 5 scholarships

Wait, so it literally is as easy as snapping their fingers (or at least raising their hands).

    No reduced tailgating
    No increased police
Reduced number of alcohol related incidents at case study universities

Best part of it was the "I don't think anyone wants us to be the alcohol police" line. What have you been all this time then? Lol now they're the hero of the people?

Really, was the Fargo Dome Authority ever the ones actually standing in the way of this happening though? Maybe the dynamic changed it’s been so long but it sure seemed like the issue, at least at the beginning was the University’s? Or am I misremembering?
