Congrats! Huge step up to be the voice of that program. Jeff had a tough job when he came in. Having to replace a legend like Scotty Miller was going to be a huge mountain to climb. He definitely raised the bar as far as broadcasting Bison games. Definitely now huge shoes to fill. Best of luck. Once a Bison always a Bison.

I would legitimately not listen if Keith Brake or Zack Staton were PxP and the host of the insiders.
If youve ever heard Staton on Hot Mic, its an absolute shit storm of a radio show. About 1/2 the show is dead air, and me checking my phone to see if the podcast paused. Keith wouldnt be able to call a play without telling you who to vote for.
That being said, Staton is about 100x better at play by play than he is at being a host on radio.
Dont know what WDAY pays and what NDSU pays for this, but I think Dom does pretty great with PxP AND Radio host. Doubt he would ever switch- seems like he likes his position now at WDAY as he can pretty much call his own shots, and likes asking real questions about the team instead of spouting the company propaganda.
1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
3. It's time to go FBS

I wonder if the PxP job will be coupled with the program direct gig at Bison 1660? Wasn't that Culhane's too? I feel like that station could use a bit of a shake up. I'll say it again, I just hope this doesn't mean that Keith Brake is elevated.
Maybe Justin Gaard could be a candidate.
