Who says it is about stepping on the field Day 1? I would say that the fact NDSU is in the top 4 is proof that it isn't about stepping on the field day 1. More about developing himself to have a chance to play at the highest level.

Yes. Also Jake Browning was a great college QB who led to the playoff one season. Washington had a nice run prior to 2020 when they went off the rails. Also who knows, they might be Big 10 in a couple years.
