From a player perspective this absolutely brilliant by Scheierman!

Look at all the schools that will be bidding for his commitment/services.

He is going to get paid in NIL dollars. He would be an stupid not to leave. He could make a 100k-plus in NIL deals if he goes the certain schools.

If the best players transfer out of the conference every season, the value/entertainment of season tickets would seem to decrease. We are going to become the minor leagues for the big dollar clubs to come raid every season.

The portal is making roster turnover change faster and faster each season. Soon hoops roster turnover will rival Fargo Force hockey.

Agents ALL OVER these college guys for NIL because they can make 15-20 percent off NIL as opposed to 4 percent off salary.

And……very few teams, of the 340 or so out there, unaffected by the portal
