Goldmark is developing it and it should be available soon. Scheels owns the parcels but is serving as a "silent partner. "https://www.inforum.com/business/the...to-office-park

With 2,500 campers, think of the possibilities if we build this? Instead of throwing the potential student athletes in a dorm, how about hotel rooms attached to a complex like this? We would have an extra piece of turf to use too

We could use the dome, the IPF, Dacotah Field and a 5th turf field

"The most important year in a boy’s baseball life is indeed age 8. If a team wins a World Series when a boy is 8, it increases the probability that he will support the team as an adult by about 8 percent. Remember, this is independent of how good the team was every other year of this guy’s life. Things start falling off pretty fast after the age of about 14. A championship when a man is 20 is only one-eighth as likely to create an adult fan as a championship when a boy is 8. Just winning games also matters, with a similar age pattern. But the data shows that there seems to be something really special about winning championships."

Seems logical to me. I was around the same age when NDSU won a bunch of D2 National Championships. We've been so good for so long, most of our in state recruits were in elementary school when out run started

So wouldn't something like this be smart for attracting lifelong fans? You set something up that appeals to elementary aged kids, let them have some great memories with their dad and then 10 years later they are college age. I think it would even be smarter to get the Park District involved. Kids now are our future fans, students and student athletes

For this reason alone, my idea of a Title Town type setup is awesome.
