whoa... hope you are NOT factual.
Kyan has a great personality.... Dave & him worked good together because dave is more the rough tough guy and kyan was the put the arm around the player and talk guy. Bad Cop, Good Cop stuff.

Maybe Dave brings in Vaughn now? don't know who else would be in his pipeline roladex.

Factual about what, Kyan being one of our best assistants? What the players have said on social media about him sums it up for me.

Lord, you think over half the coaches at NDSU are shit. GTFOH

I don’t know this and we may have not been given the opportunity… employers are not always given that chance

Dave made his own bed, now he gets to sleep in it. Championships are won by developing players, coaches and retaining them for that big senior season. You will never win anything if you can't keep the seniors you invested 4 years with. Make them want to stay. That's the problem. They have to want to be here, and they don't

Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!

This is happening everywhere now, though...not a problem just here. Not saying things shouldn't be looked into...especially with Kyan leaving. That one is troubling. I'm not a big fan of our coaching staff...but they did get us to the Summit League Championship. SDSU was on another level this year...can't really fault the coaches for that.

You've just stated the reason/reasons why the USD women's team had the success they did; and the SDSU men's team is good and will be very good again next year. Players from these teams want to hang around.

There's a possibility that we did match the offer and he still left. If that were the case, a terrible look for NDSU just got worse. Regardless, a bad look.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.
