Do players who left the team through the transfer portal still get a championship ring? What about other players who still have eligibility left and leave the team for any reason after the championship game like deciding they don't want to play football anymore due to injuries or need more time to focus on academics?

I believe they still get rings as long as they were on the team at the time of the championship game
