    Default 2022 Spring Ball

Bussey & Gindorff & Price & Wisniski out until summer

TK Marshall up to 210lbs, Gonella is at baseball will be here for spring then baseball until July

Hunter Luepke adds 4.5 inches to vertical

4 QB's that could play anywhere

Defense Eli Mostert DT now , Weertz, Kasczor is healthy playing at non contact this spring.

LBs will have lots of guys cross training between Safety & LB & see who can handle it

125 kids on roster, can only have 110

WILL take 2-3 transfers this fall that need to play right away, which is different.

Entz says "Cam this job is yours to keep" QB1

If Entz actually said something on the order of giving the QB 1 job to Cam without legitimate competition, I want him shit canned immediately. You just don't do that in college football. You do it in the NFL because you have a guy under contract for 40 mil a year.

The guy led the team to a national title with a higher passer efficiency than any Bison QB in the D1 era not named Trey Lance. Twice already he's beat out upper classmen mid-season to earn the starting job. Cam has been given nothing and he's earned this opportunity to be QB1 heading into the 2022 season. I'm sure he knows as well as anyone that there's very capable backups if he gets complacent.

Cam is QB1 and Quincy can't play "anywhere." Mr. Payton looks like a sturdy young man. Hope he sticks around. If he somehow takes Cam's job... thats pretty impressive.

People don't give Cam the respect he deserves. The offense went from impotent to potent with him running the show.

And he is just one year removed from being benched for poor play. He ain't all that, and the other guys have just as much right to improve and win starting snaps as he does. This is college football. For all we know Cole may become the greatest QB in NDSU history. If QP improves his passing and pocket presence, he has waayy more arm strength and rushing ability than Cam.

Handing the QB job out on a platter in this kind of competitive environment would be reprehensible.

    1. When was Cam benched? He lost out on an open QB competition in summer camp before the 2021 season.

    2. I think it's funny that people keep saying if QP improves his passing, that he can do this. Well Virginia Tech said the same thing, and now we are saying the same thing. Its a trend.

    3. Cole has all the potential in the world. His ceiling might be higher than Cam's.

    4. Good luck benching a QB that does everything our offense asks of him. He made the offense go. He can get us in and out of checks. His mobility is sufficient. Also, he is proven he can beat a team without top tier WR talent (no Watson against JMU).
