Walker was good, or even very good, but Brock was great. Three rings, Kansas State game and final drive, 46 or 47 wins whatever it was, which was a record at the time. Not even close. It's like comparing Speral and Nellermoe to Benny and Simdorn, not even close.

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

It's also not fair comparing Walker when he was playoff ineligible. 2004-2005, we weren't very good but if the 2006-2007 team was eligible, were they good enough to make a playoff run? I dunno, they were good enough to beat the Gophers, hold a good 2006 Gopher team to 10 points, bitch slap Central Michigan who won the MAC and win a shootout with Ball State of the MAC with a roster of many D2 recruits. If they weren't a Natty team, they could have at the very least been a semi or quarter final team. They beat every ranked team they faced plus 3 FBS wins.
