Saw this coming whennnn Richy all of sudden thought needed to give starter minutes to Skunberg because he tries hard on defense....sacrificed shooting for a giy who tried hard on defense (im NOT gonna say Skunberg is a good defender)

Now we lose our starting SG

    AWESOME MOVE RICHY

Cook was hot early in the championship game... then got pulled. I don't blame him for leaving. Could see this coming.

If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.

At least skunberg took off when he replaced cook that game... had a monumental *checks notes* 0-6 outing.

Losing Cook is going to hurt. MHH not so much. MHH couldn't play defense and maybe gained 5 lbs in his tenure here. He showed out against our noncon D3 games and very sporadically thereafter. Cook was pretty dang consistent a great all round player. Could create his own shot if needed and a great overall shooter. HC DR is going to have to change his slogan on building a program on retention and development. He isn't fairing to well in that department. Hopefully he can find some gems in the transfer portal with a couple years of eligibility left. Need to find impact contributors though and not the Andrew Kalman level of transfers. Hoping for the best and will see what HC DR can pull off.

Transfer to a team with an RPI 40 below us that hasn't made the NCAA Tournament since 1986

I really hope this wasn't a basketball decision. But only 30% of transfers get another scholarship offer so sometimes beggars can't be choosers
