    Default Summit League Coaching Changes

There are now two openings in the Summit League, Omaha cut ties with long time coach Darrin Hansen on Monday and today the Coyotes of South Dakota have parted ways with coach Todd Lee. Very surprised to see the Yotes move on from Lee already. One would wonder if Saul Phillips might be a target to land one of these spots? Also wouldnt be surpised if current ndsu assistant coach Kyan Brown's name was mentioned.

Surprised to see Lee get the boot. Players in the portal with ties to coaches add an interesting dynamic to coaching hires these days. Not sure what rumors EC8CH is referring to.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

Theres been speculation of possible recruitment tampering with Lee (possible with Bruns kid of UND), not sure the sources are great but they are out there. Coach Lee offered a kid a scholarship yesterday so this was a complete blindside to him.

OK, I saw some of those veiled comments in the other thread.

Makes me wonder if Fidler at Omaha or any of the USD kids now enter the portal. Lots of dominoes could fall.

Dang USD is a good job. They have a great arena. Somebody on Twitter said Lee's Summit League record was slightly better than Craig Smith. People must not have liked him much.

There seemed to be some mention of tampering with other teams players but the rumors are unconfirmed right now. If media submits a FIOA request the message should come out if he was using college provided phone.

I would assume that bigger school is going to offer Hendo a huge contract soon. We could be looking at Omaha, USD and SDSU all being open jobs this off season.

You gotta imagine Hendo's phone will be ringing...
