WR Haven Moses with over 8,000 career receiving yards in his 14 year NFL stint was a teammate of Don Horn when the Aztecs beat us in 1966. All tolled, 5 players from that team went to the NFL, as well as Don Coryell, who was the HC and John Madden, who was an assistant coach for SDSU that year.

    I disagree with

    - George Kittle, he caught one pass near the sideline during the 2nd half and ran for a TD. This was when CJ Bethard stepped out due to concussion issue.
    - Desmond King, was silent. Easton played very well. He never threw anywhere near Desmond King, so King never had any impact against us. He did stop Lance Dunn near 2yard line which I think is a crime and he should be arrested for stopping Lance Dunn near 2 yard line. Otherwise he was silent and did not impact the game.

Who should be on that list.

    - Jerick McKinnon, RB Georgia Southern, our secondary was helpless against him. I remember clear as day , the Eagles marched down the red zone and the QB gave the ball to McKinnon. Our entire secondary tried to block him led by Marcus Williams and yet McKinnon dragged almost 4 defenders with him and scored a TD. How we won that game is a miracle akin to Moses splitting the Red Sea and saving the Israelites.

    - Tyler Lockett, WR Kansas State, he was on a next level. Marcus Williams got beat constantly. We were lucky because our D-Line led by Travis Beck made life hell for K-State QB.

    - The 2012-2014 UNI Secondary
    - Tim Kilfoy, this dude was like a ghost, he intercepted atleast 2 passes every game against us.
    - Makinton Dorleant, Rickey Neal Jr., Jared Farley, Deondre Hall . These 5 guys were the legion of doom.

Good lord. Desmond King DID impact the game precisely BECAUSE Stick never threw the ball near him. King took much of the field away from Stick's options. Easton most certainly played a really scrappy game but he wasn't that great throwing the ball, largely because King was always on our best receivers.

McKinnon did not receive the ball from the QB. He WAS the QB for Georgia Southern. So much for remembering "clear as day".

Beck was a linebacker, not on the D-Line.

Marcus might have been beaten a couple of times but it was actually Heagle, the safety, that failed a couple of times to keep up with coverage over the top, most memorably on the long ball from Waters early in the 3rd quarter. Lockett was/is a total stud but the Bison actually played him very well, all things considering. He only got loose a couple of times. They especially did well on special teams by not kicking the ball to him a single time.

Whoever was the RB for Georgia Southern that day was a beast. 1-1 our guys could never bring him down. He got atleast 10-15 yards after contact.
