Weerts injury was a back surgery.

I am trying to find the presser that Entz said something about a non football related back injury that required surgery.

No one will complain about Jackson Hankey not having enough speed as a middle linebacker.

My bad! Don't know why I had acl in my mind. Thanks for the correction, though back stuff scares me just as much. Hope he's back 100% cause he has stud potential

Prediction: I will miss the home opener and the raising of the banner. My sister-in-law will be married that day, and I highly doubt that they will have an evening wedding. I have ZERO choice in the matter, and I will be at the likely afternoon service.

The position group with the most to prove for 2022 IMO is the WR group (I would have said TE's, but Dorf coming back lessens that concern). There's a lot of experience, but they have a lot to prove. Can someone step up and be a downfield threat to replace Watson? Can we do a better job of getting open? There's going to be lots of competition.

    Returners:
    0 Mathis
    9 Hart
    11 Sproles
    12 Henderson
    17 Nelson
    19 Lippe

    2nd Year FR:
    Lance
    Harris

    Top Incoming FR:
    Collins
    Hegerle

As a freshman Lippe was on the field a lot up until his injury. If fully recovered I would expect him to do well. He had quite a few offers and possibly even a PWO from Badgers....I could be wrong on that.
