Not sure I saw the “celebration” after the interception, but Entz was clearly laying into a specific player who was doing some “celebrating” after tackles earlier than the interception.

I dunno, maybe I am just old and think the play on the field is more than enough to state your dominance.

Clearly Entz didn’t like it and the crap stopped after his sideline rant. But he is older too and must not like “ celebrating

I do think today's players celebrate a bit more than the past but I posted in a thread a couple weeks how surprised I was after watching highlights of old championship games from the 80s how many players celebrated the way they did.

Dawson and 5-6 others ran with the ball all the way to the end zone after the interception where they danced around a bit ala NFL. There was no doubt a flag was going to be thrown.

I’m a whole lot older than Matt Entz and I will absolutely temper my suppression of expressions of positive energy (celebrations) vs negative energy (taunting).

These kids are not pros. They are supposed to be having fun.

Entz has given Dawson Webber WAY more of a leash on his yipping and yapping than I ever would. He often behaves like he plays for a team like EWU or Sammy or something rather than a team that just knows how to kick ass.

Somewhat agree but not completely. Celebrating is a misdemeanor whereas taunting is a felony IMHO.
