Who remembers back in either 1985 or 1986 when the Bison needed like 6 games to go a certain way at the end of the season and one of those had to end in a tie or we'd be out of the playoffs. Earle Solomonson was coach and was so sure it wouldn't happen that he packed the equipment and let the team go home for quarter break. And it all fell into place, that game ended in a tie, we made the playoffs, and won the natty.
And then Solomonson went to Montana State after our 1986 natty and set their program back 10 years IIRC.
NFL, so dumb. That this is even on the table is a complete self-own.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
