Murray State coming to the MVFC??

Murray St was 6-5 in OVC, but ... two of those were FBS losses to Cincinnati and Bowling Green, so they are closer to 6-3

They will probably struggle for a bit in MVFC, but I'm not sure they are worse than YSU, UND or even Arizona.
Give them a few years and they could be decent.

The amount of people here who think murray state secretly a good team should not be higher than zero, but here you are comparing them to a power 5 team.

I don't think it helps much or hurts. The eastern half teams would probably like having a team closer to them. But if we end up doing a west and east, I'll be really opposed.

Eastern Illinois would have been great too. Solid program. Good rivalries for our Illinois teams. Good history with QB's like Jimmy Garappalo and Tony Romo. Plus we recruit Illinois

LOL, 1-11 Arizona lost to a 5-6 NAU team, are you sure they deserve the "power 5" label or could easily beat Murray St?

I'm not saying they will beat the Bison, but MSU could be a mid pack or better MVFC team fairly quick.
