    Missouri State President believes Athletics Program will move to FBS

    https://www.news-leader.com/story/sp...t/70189082007/

    Highlights:
    -For Missouri State athletics, it's starting to look more like a "when" and not an "if" the school will move up a subdivision in Division I football, based on recent comments by the university's president.
    -Reports have connected MSU to the likes of the Sun Belt and Conference USA for several years.
    -Based on current expenses, which would increase with a move to a new conference because of additional scholarships being handed out and travel among other reasons, Missouri State would be on par with some of the top spenders in the next iteration of Conference USA and nearly $8 million below the Sun Belt median.

    That last statement needs to be read several times by some posters on here.

    On par spending in CUSA = $8 million below Sun Belt median.
    North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

    Jackrabbits go right into the Little Apple to get a 2024 commit:

    Max Stanard
    @max_stanard
    Manhattan High | Class of 2024 | Safety | 6’0 195 | State Champ | All State DB and Punt Returner
    Manhattan, KS

    And yes, that Stanard name is familiar. Son of Steve Stanard, KState assistant coach - former Bison assistant coach

    Speaking of former Bison coaches;

    Hank Fuchs
    @fuchs_hank
    C/O 2024 | Lawrence Free State High school | OL | #74 | 6’3 275 | 4.0 GPA | Lawrence, Kansas

    Hank Fuchs was just offered by Columbia. Son of Kansas OL coach Scott Fuchs - OL Coach at NDSU from ‘09-13 - also a former Bison player
