Are you at DFW? If yes, they have like 30 checkpoints there and you can pass through any of them. Just start walking.

I always go through the checkpoint at B9, and then navigate to whatever terminal I need to be at. Always a short line as that terminal houses more regional type flights.

DFW posts their wait times online. They’re spot on and update in real time.

If you do go to the airport super early and have plenty of free time: go take the monorail to Terminal D - it’s international wing and newest terminal. DFW isn’t a shithole but the rest of the airport looks like a third world country in comparison.
