Not I, unless Pittsburg State wasn't that same year.

Incidentally, the Ashland game was where James Molstre had his knee taken out.

After trying to check some, it might appear that the Pittsburg State game was in 1990. My first post was assuming the guy had the right teams, but had switched the Central Ohio and Pittsburg teams around.

The first playoff game was with Ashland, which was a blowout, and then Central Ohio, which we won with little trouble, and then the Pittsburg State game was a real dog fight, and wasn't decided until late in the 4th Quarter when Todd Wash intercepted a pass.
Central State. The way you say that sounds like our regional name. We say "Central Ohio" like you say "Red River Valley".
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.

Central Ohio preceded by Ashland was 1986.
Central Ohio that year had a monster o lineman that was 6-8” 420 LBs, came out onto Dacotah field holding their helmets up high.

Phil would have been a redshirt freshman, that year and didn’t even dress for the playoffs.
That was a long time ago, you are probably right.

I was living in SE Kansas back then... the Gorillas fans were unbearable and continued to be.

Have the Gorillas fallen on hard times?

Also pay attention to how many players celebrate their individual efforts and pander to the crowd ... I don't remember that. In my head they always handed the ball to the official and walked back to the sidelines ...

They haven't been in the D-II playoffs since 2014 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Be...ll,_born_1964)
It's OK to not be OK.

Bad video quality... but it's the only footage of the 1990 Pitt semifinal that I know of. It's the whole game.
