From a numbers perspective for the #FCS, there looks to be nearly 2.5 times more players going FBS-to-FCS than FCS-to-FBS this offseason. This was also the case two offseasons ago when we tracked both numbers

For sure. That's why I said it's debatable if it's an even trade

However, it's not like every FCS standout has success in the FBS

Of the 100ish FCS-to-FBS transfers for the 2020 season, only 25 of them started 50% or more of the games. (Working on how 2021 transfers performed)

But generally a FBS to FCS move involves a marginal/unproven player when compared to FCS to FBS transfers.

For example, Weber State will not likely sign another George Tarlas as a drop down transfer.

FCS schools who have the least amount of players (ship & walkon) enter portal since 8/1:

*Florida A&M - 1
*Davidson (1 withdrew), Hampton, Montana, Montana St, Eastern Washington - 2
*Prairie View A&M, Yale - 3
*Wofford, Fordham, Bethune-Cookman- 4

Southern - 5 (2 withdrew)

Ogbu and Florentine are the only ones I can think of... possible there's more Bison players in the portal that we haven't heard about yet???
