Spencer Rattler from OK ended up at South Carolina...maybe Zeb can teach him a thing or two about being a qb.....or more likely at least how to throw hail mary's at the end of a half.

Crazy how the transfer portal works. Oklahoma had what many pundits thought was a pre-season All American in Rattler. He got benched, and the freshman Williams turned out to be a monster. Now both are gone and they have to start from scratch.
Although, Williams leaving probably had more to do with their coach leaving. Rattler left because he knew he'd never start again.

Rattler could have a good shot at starting again without the new guy leaving. But I don't think he was counting on that.

I know it's tempting to do bring this FBS-related stuff up, but if it's kind of unfair to allow this but not the rebuttal side - of course, the subtle difference is that posts like this do not attempt to detract or devalue the upcoming championship game while the anti-FCS talk does, but people aren't very good at seeing distinctions like that. Anyway, if people do want to offer a rebuttal to the "FBS doesn't prevent transfers", please do so in the FBS thread - that's why it exists.

And, of course, not all the 24/7 anti-FCS folks are making the argument that the FBS will prevent transfers like this.
