I dont know who is incharge of enrollment but NDSU enrollment efforts are a huge embarrassment. Every middle school and high school notice boards in Minnesota are filled with pamphlets, insignia, or flag from all universities SDSU, UND, UNI, Bumidji, St.Mary, St.Thomas, UM, etc except NDSU.
I don't know if this is arrogance or stupidity from NDSU administrators, either way it looks like NDSU administration is not very serious about recruitment compared to other colleges.

To be fair, DB saw the importance of enrollement. He set the goal for 18K, and was immediately smacked down by the BoHE, idiot Minot politicians, Rob Port, and others who criticized him for chasing student numbers. So, that goal was abandoned. Not saying he would have gotten there, but his instinct was that we need to get to a critical mass of enrollment to weather the inevitable enrollment declines that were coming due to nationwide declining pool of H.S. graduates.
I don't care what Jim says. That is not the real Ben Franklin. I'm 99% certain.
