    This was the first game where I saw my son actually get invested in a game. He's gone to almost every home game since before he was born, so to him the games were just background noise. Yesterday was different.
    He was standing and cheering especially at the end. He could sense the tension.

    Just before the pick, he turns to me a asks if we are "allowed" to take the ball away from the other team. I sheepishly said yes but that's pretty hard to do, as I hoped the first game he really cared about wouldn't be a disappointment. He just matter of factly says, well we should do that then.

    After the pick, we jumped, cheered, and hugged. Good times!

    Got dusty in here all of a sudden.
