I shuttered at this pull. I remember Dave pulling Knotek's redshirt for basically a 2 game out of conference stint in which he played a total of like 20min and the rest of the year didn't play at all.

I wonder how much the student's wishes are taken into account. I honestly don't know what goes into pulling the redshirt. Does Dave say, "look, we really need to do this and have you step up. Are you okay with that?" Or does he say, "Streit, get in there."
