I was impressed with ETSU Defense, better than I expected them to be. Had a good game plan and players didn't over pursuit or leave their gaps. Disciplined group. There was about 5 tackles that their Defense made that could have been house calls or 30+ yard gains. Undisciplined team and unable to make those tackles it would have been a 50burger game.
Cam had two money down drops. Receivers prevented a much faster beat down and need to step it up for the semifinal.

On some plays, NDSU's offense played such beautiful football too, but four or five false starts? Yuk. And there were a lot of obvious, unnecessary holds by the OL. The last couple of seasons, NDSU has had more presnap penalties than their playoff opponents.

But the number of players injured was the real downer - hopefully, they weren't as bad they looked.

    Talbert looked like a stinger.
Bus was walking on what looked to be a sprain
Sundell got leg whipped, no idea there. Hopefully a bruise but twisted his lower leg some.

Would be really nice to get Watson back

Sam Herder has Transfer Portal lists, including FCS - to - FBS and FBS - to FCS.
Noticed this on the FCS - to - FCS list. https://herosports.com/2024-fcs-to-fcs-transfers-bzbz/

Maybe they just really want to play NDSU.

So I’d better go check the Tennessee State list then too…
